Sometimes Customer may not be the User. In B2B, the customer is management making purchasing decisions.  Users are the users of the system.

Start with interviewing Users

3 outcomes if you do not Interview Users...

  1. You will build the Wrong Product
  2. You will build the Right Product but for the Wrong User
  3. A product with no market need

What information to know 

What are all users?

  • Habits
  • Where they access the product
  • How they need it
  • when user it the most 
  • how to access it
  • ask open questions
    • Ex. What kind of food ordiner apps have you used in the past?
    • Instead of: Would you use an ordering app inside of a restraunt (closed question, everyone will say yes.
